On April 22-25, 2019, study course “Patent Search” will take place at the IP Training Centre functioning at Sakpatenti. It covers an overview of the patent system and introduction to the techniques of patent information search. The course is intended for representatives of universities and scientific-research institutions.
The objective of the course is to offer the participants the basic knowledge on the importance of patent information, main search systems and search techniques. The gained knowledge will assist the participants of the course in familiarizing with the scientific and technological achievements in their field, preliminary assessment of the state of the art prior to preparing a patent application and better planning of drafting and filing a patent application with Sakpatenti. The course will be led by trainers (tutors) of the IP Training Centre of the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia Sakpatenti. After completion of the course the participants will be handed over relevant certificates.
The first course will be attended by representatives of I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgian Technical University, Ilia State University, David Tvildiani State Medical University, Caucasus University, International Black Sea University and R.Agladze Institute of Inorganic Chemistry and Electrochemistry.
