It is noteworthy that a considerable part of the Agreement is devoted to the legal protection of intellectual property objects between the parties, which also includes mutual protection of geographical indications.
After the Brexit process ends, the Agreement will replace the existing Association Agreement between Georgia and the European Union. The document covers a wide range of cooperation and creates a legal framework for strategic partnership, also provides for maintenance of the free trade regime between Georgia and the United Kingdom.
