Trainers of Sakpatenti Training Centre Successfully Passed the First Module of the TOT Program

The trainers of the Intellectual Property Training Centre will be prepared for the global trend of active transition to the electronic mode of teaching and in this regard they will acquire necessary knowledge, tools and skills related to digital industry.

The above-mentioned has become possible owing to the Training of Trainers (TOT) Program implemented within cooperation between the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy and Sakpatenti. The Program implies sharing experience by WIPO Academy trainers, in particular, effective transfer of knowledge using remote platforms.

TOT consists of three modules. The first module was delivered remotely from September 15 to November 17, 2020, and fully covered development of methods and approaches of distance teaching. In confirmation of successful completion of the first module and raising of qualification, trainers of Sakpatenti Training Centre were awarded relevant certificates. The second and the third modules, the syllabus of which contains the program of “Teaching of Advanced Level of Intellectual Property” and “Development of Training Projects”, will be offered in 2021.

Sakpatenti Training Centre, the Action Plan of which is based on one of the priorities of Sakpatenti – raising public awareness in the intellectual property field, is striving towards high-quality teaching. To this end, Sakpatenti actively cooperates with international partners in order to attain its objective - to have trainers specialized in distance teaching management.
