Memorandums of Understanding were Signed between National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia Sakpatenti, Georgian Copyright Association and Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly

On August 2, 2017, within the Literature and Art Competition “Tbilisi”, Memorandums of Understanding were signed between National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia Sakpatenti, Georgian Copyright Association and Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly.
The documents were signed by Mr. Giorgi Alibegashvili, Chairman of Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly, Ms. Tamar Taliashvili, Head of Commission of Education and Culture of the Tbilisi City Assembly, Mr. Nikoloz Gogilidze, Chairman of Sakpatenti, and Mr. Giga Kobaladze, Director of Georgian Copyright Association.
As the parties noted, the memorandums were concluded for popularization of the Literature and Art Competition “Tbilisi”, which aims to facilitate participation of any interested person working in the field of literature, music, painting, architecture and art, their involvement, and creation of a healthy competitive environment, as well as raising public awareness on copyright and related rights and supporting art in general.
The event was attended by representatives of the Commission of Education and Culture, Head of Organization Team of Competition “Tbilisi”, writer Mr. Irakli Shamatava and members of the jury of the Competition 2016, as well as representatives of Sakpatenti and Georgian Copyright Association.
