Filing application abroad (UPOV PRISMA)

In 2018 SAKPATENTI joined the new electronic filing system - UPOV PRISMA of the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV). UPOV PRISMA is an online application tool for drafting and submitting plant variety application data to participating PVP Offices in required format.

By using the platform it is possible to submit new plant variety application data also to SAKPATENTI. The corresponding PVP application forms were translated by the SAKPATENTI and are available in Georgian.

Certain reductions apply on the fee for using the system if the application is filed in electronic form using UPOV PRISMA until December 2019.
