Georgia at Wine Exhibition “EXPOVINA”

On November 1-15, 2018, Wine exhibition “EXPOVINA” is held in Zurich, the Swiss Confederation, where Georgia participates with the honorary guest status. “EXPOVINA” is the annual wine event, distinguished by its unique locality.  The exhibition takes place every autumn on the stationary boats on Lake Zurich. At the event about 4000 varieties of wines from around the world are presented. Up to 65000 wine importers attend the exhibition annually.

The participation of Georgia in the “EXPOVINA” exhibition was financed and co-organized by Sakpatenti.  In the event wine producing companies from Georgia are participating, who are presenting various types of wines for exhibition. Participation of Georgia in “EXPOVINA” will facilitate popularization of Georgian geographical indications and appellations of origin.
