Memorandum of Understanding was Signed with Sakpatenti at Employment and Internship Forum of San Diego State University

Today, on October 17, 2019, the Employment and Internship Forum was held at hotel Sheraton Metechi Palace, organized by San Diego State University (SDSU-Georgia). National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia Sakpatenti participated at the event for the fifth time, together with various private and public organizations.

The main objective of the Forum was linking successful students of the University with future employers. At the event, the representatives of Sakpatenti offered to students comprehensive information on the intellectual property subject-matters, familiarized them with the peculiarity of entity work and introduced the prospects of education and internship at Sakpatenti.

Within the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Millennium Challenge Foundation-Georgia (MCA-Georgia), San Diego State University and Sakpatenti. The Memorandum on behalf of Sakpatenti was signed by its Chairman Mr. Genadi Lebanidze. The Memorandum envisages internship and practice of students participating in the Bachelor programs of San Diego State University and in the professional education programs funded by LEPL Millennium Challenge Foundation-Georgia (MCA-Georgia) at the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia Sakpatenti, participation of students in the educational programs in the intellectual property field, offered by Sakpatenti Training Centre, and implementation of joint events and projects aimed to raise public awareness in the IP field.
