New Practice Paper - Graphic Representation of Designs

Sakpatenti is the first non-EU IP office which has aligned its practice of design representation with the common practice of the IP offices of the European Union Intellectual Property Network (EUIPN).
Today, on March 30, 2020, the IP Office of Georgia published a Practice Paper concerning Graphic Representation of Designs, which is a result of the joint efforts of the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia Sakpatenti and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The main purpose of the publication of the Practice Paper is to increase transparency, legal certainty and predictability for applicants, examiners and any other interested parties. The Practice Paper contains a clear and comprehensive explanation of the principles which will be applied by Sakpatenti at the time of receiving design applications.
