Human intellect is unique, therefore, everything it creates belongs to it and needs protection. Without copyright protection, development of civilization would be delayed considerably, whereas people would lose the opportunity of spiritual and cultural enrichment.
Copyright is exceptional. It is applied to any scientific, artistic and
literary work, created as a result of intellectual effort. The author of the work has economic and moral rights. The inviolability of authorship, name and work is the author’s moral right, which shall not be infringed.
The author may allow or prohibit the distribution and reproduction of his work, sale of the original or a copy or the transfer of ownership in another form and any other use, which represents his economic rights. Copyright allows the author to receive remuneration for the use of his work, and in case of infringement of rights, to demand reimbursement of caused damages.
