Sakpatenti Training Centre Has a New Head – The Centre Adds New Programs

The Training Centre of the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia Sakpatenti will offer a new catalogue of educational programs to persons interested in the intellectual property field.
The courses adapted to the necessities of representatives of various industries, holders and users of rights on various intellectual property subject-matters are being prepared according to the plan. The Training Centre is introducing best practices in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy and the Training Centre’s of the Regional Intellectual Property Organizations.
The above-mentioned plan was presented during the remote meeting of the new Head of Sakpatenti Training Centre Ms. Ana Dalakishvili and representatives of the WIPO Academy. At the meeting the officials of the WIPO Academy expressed readiness to support transition of the Training Centre to a new stage of development. To achieve the high quality of educational programs, the WIPO Academy will participate in drafting the programs of Sakpatenti Training Centre and training and certification of Georgian trainers. Sakpatenti Training Centre was established with the support of WIPO and it’s study programs are led by the WIPO certified Trainers.
The Action plan of the Training Centre is based on one of the priorities of the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia Sakpatenti – raising public awareness in the intellectual property field.
