To develop relevant skills for teaching creativity and intellectual property concepts, 12 teachers of 6 public schools of Tbilisi, Rustavi and Gori will pass training within the EU-Georgia Intellectual Property Project (EUGIPP).
“Creativity and intellectual property at schools of Georgia” is one of the components of EUGIPP, the presentation of which took place, on September 29, 2020, at Rooms Hotel. It serves understanding the significance of the intellectual property system, raising awareness in this direction among policymakers and particular segments of the general public in Georgia.
Initially, the pilot version of the project will be implemented. In the selected schools lessons in creativity and intellectual property will be delivered. One of the objectives of the pilot version of this project is integration of creativity and intellectual property issues into the public education system.

For classroom work, teacher-coordinators will receive materials selected for three training modules on basics of intellectual property, the twenty-first-century competencies and educational resources. In addition, for the purpose of teaching effectiveness within the project, the selected schools will be provided with various supplementary resources. The learning materials will be used during lessons of the native language and public education.
