"How To Transfer an Idea into an Innovation" - Training for Young Entrepreneurs

Sakpatenti Training Center, within the framework of  series – “trainings tailored to the needs”, conducted a workshop for the young entrepreneurs working in the field of social entrepreneurship and green innovation in regions of Georgia.

The workshop was held remotely on November 5 – 6, in cooperation with the Caucasus Environmental NGO Network (CENN) and the EU-supported project "EU4Youth - Development of Social Entrepreneurship Ecosystems for Green Growth in Borderline Communities".

Young entrepreneurs got acquainted with the stages of specific procedures how to transfer an idea into an innovative product, as well as were informed under which intellectual property object the innovation should be protected. Participants also were informed about the impact of IP objects on their innovation together with the entrepreneur’s rights and their use.

As one of the main priorities for the entity is to raise public awareness in the field of Intellectual Property, to this end Sakpatenti Training Center, has developed number of programs tailored to the needs of the representatives of various industries, including of IP rights holders and their users.
