Sakpatenti Staff Members Passed Training on Protection of Personal Data

Sakpatenti Training Center continues the series of trainings tailored to the needs. The training on protection of personal data was held on the initiative of the Center and in cooperation with the State Inspector’s Service.

The training, organized in the distance mode, had been continuing for two days and covered the legislation regulating the personal data protection as well as the practice of the State Inspector’s Service. This activity serves the establishment of a high standard in the field of personal data protection in Sakpatenti, which will ensure the protection of personal data and prevention of violations.

The participants got familiarized with the importance of protection of personal data, obligations of the data processing organizations, rights of data subjects and their protection security issues. During the training, the interrelation of the issuance of public information and protection of personal data were also discussed.

After the training, the staff members will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills which will assist them in their everyday professional activities. Ensuring the standards of personal data processing processes in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Protection of Personal Data will eventually improve the quality of services for the citizens and increase the trust towards the Center.

Sakpatenti Training Centre is establishing high standards of teaching and for this purpose cooperates with competent international as well as local organizations, thereby facilitating capacity building and deepening the knowledge of its staff members.
