Copyrighted Works, Inventions, Created Design, New Variety and New Breed and Trademarks - Pupils Presented Results of Their Intellectual Work

Pupils creatively expressed the knowledge received at intellectual property lessons at the event, which was the final stage of one of the components of the EU-Georgia Intellectual Property Project (EUGIPP) - “Creativity and Intellectual Property in Georgian Schools”, aimed to facilitate integration of intellectual property into the basic system of education. 6 public schools of Tbilisi, Gori and Rustavi throughout Georgia were involved in the Project.
“Improvement of the level of education and raising public awareness in the intellectual property field is one of the main priorities of the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia - Sakpatenti. To attain this objective, we anticipate integration of intellectual property into the basic system of education as the most valuable investment”, - Mr. Mindia Davitadze, Sakpatenti Chairman.
The EU-funded Project is based on the best practices of European countries regarding deepening knowledge in creativity and intellectual property field. The EUGIPP is ongoing since January 2020 and is being jointly implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia - Sakpatenti.
