Sakpatenti is working on Introducing IP Pre-diagnostic Services

International IP expert Ms. Alison Orr delivers 2-day training course at Sakpatenti premises for centre staff members. The main topics of the session are IP commercialisation and management, identifying intangible assets of companies, challenges and ways of their overcoming. The objective of the event is to train Sakpatenti officials on performing IP pre-diagnostic services. The event is organized within the EU Georgia Intellectual Property (EUGIPP) Project.
Ms. Nino Chikovani, Acting Chairperson of Sakpatenti, and Mr. Martin Marianov, EUGIPP Project leader made welcoming remarks on an opening of hybrid training session.
EUGIPP is the EU funded international cooperation project, which is implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) from January 1, 2020. The project main beneficiary is the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia – “Sakpatenti”. EUGIPP is a three-year project, with the budget of 1.2 million EUR, and it aims to support the intellectual property system in Georgia.
