Workshop on “Adjudication of Civil Intellectual Property Infringement Cases”

The workshop on “Adjudication of Civil Intellectual Property Infringement Cases”, held in Batumi, co-organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), Sakpatenti and the High School of Justice, is aimed at sharing experience of the United States of America in the direction of intellectual property protection.
During two days, the judges participating in the workshop will get acquainted with the U.S. court practice regarding disputes related to intellectual property subject-matters, will discuss decisions taken by Sakpatenti Chamber of Appeals. Hearing the experience of U.S. judges, who have extensive experience in IP lawsuit and at the workshop specific examples from their experience will be shared, will assist Georgian judges in execution of the legislation on IPR protection in compliance with the international standards in Georgia.
