Sakpatenti Participated in the Employment Forum of Kutaisi International University

Kutaisi International University (KIU) hosted the first large-scale employment forum.  In the area allocated for the forum, an exhibition stand of Sakpatenti was shown. Sakpatenti representatives informed the students on the activity of the organization and the opportunities of employment and internship. 

Along with Sakpatenti, up to 50 representatives of the private and public sectors participated in the forum. Within the forum, seminars and presentations were held on such topics as: career trends in the sector of information technologies; skills required for employment; banking sector as an employer; future professions and power of establishing contacts. 

It is noteworthy that Sakpatenti is constantly striving to facilitate searching for and professional development of young, highly qualified specialists. For this purpose, in the recent period 4 interns were already employed at Sakpatenti. In addition, by the mediation of Sakpatenti, Tbilisi State University and Georgian Technical University joined the Pan-European professional internship program (Pan-European Seal (PES) Program), which means that from September of the current year graduates of these universities will have an opportunity to pass a one-year, fully funded internship at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante. 

As regards Kutaisi International University, it is a project financed by the International Charity Foundation – “Cartu”, which aims, with the support of international and local partners, to develop into an entrepreneurial, intellectual hub and to promote the economic growth and development of the country by training highly qualified professional specialists.
