Sakpatenti Representatives Participated in the Conference on Judicial Practice Organized by the European Union Intellectual Property Office

On April 29-30, the 5th IP Case Law Conference on Intellectual Property, organized by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), was held in Alicante, Spain. The event was attended by Ms. Tika Nebieridze, Deputy Chairperson of Sakpatenti, and Ms. Dea Tchitcinadze, Head, Division of Trademarks and Geographical Indications. 

Delegations of EU member and candidate states participated in the conference. During the event, attention was focused on the challenges in the field of copyright, as well as on the elaboration of modern legislative experience in the wake of technological development. 

The conference, organized by the Board of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office, aimed to gather leading experts having a wide range of professional interests in the intellectual property field from different countries, in order to discuss by their involvement, sharing of experience and opinions the global challenges in the judicial practice and legislation related to intellectual property and prospects of development.
