Ms. Salome Tsimakuridze, Head of Administration Department of National intellectual Property Center of Georgia – “Sakpatenti”, participated in the Entrepreneurship Education Conference Junior Achievement Georgia. The conference was held within the project “Building Back Better Through Social Entrepreneurship”, implemented with the support of the European Union.
The event serves to deepen cooperation between educational institutions, businesses and local organizations and to increase access to education. The conference also aims to equip the youth with skills necessary on the labour market and to support them in establishing their own social enterprises.
The conference participants presented the project report and spoke about the social enterprises formed and financed within the framework of the “Accelerator X | Social Entrepreneurship” Program. The second part of the event was dedicated to the program “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship”, where the “Pupils Company of the Year 2025” was named. The winner was selected by the competent jury, which, along with a representative of Sakpatenti, included representatives of the Ministry of Education, Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency, the Youth Agency and the National Bank.
The winner of competition became the company “Kevin AI”, formed by pupils of Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli Public School №. 1, which created an AI mentor for a cybersecurity specialist. With video courses and relevant exercises, the Georgian artificial voice assistant will help pupils in programming and studying artificial intelligence, thereby enabling them to gain knowledge and experience quickly, comfortably and, which is the most important, at an affordable price.
“Kevin AI”, together with representatives from 41 European countries, will participate and represent Georgia at the Europe’s Largest Entrepreneurship Festival “Gen-E 2025”, to be held in Athens, Greece.
It is noteworthy that Sakpatenti as the body determining policy in the intellectual property field is actively engaged in implementation of various events aimed at the development of innovations and technologies, including the Millennium Innovation Award, the Competition of Young Inventors and Researchers “Leonardo da Vinci” and training seminars of various types for pupils and students.
