Within the Prime Minister’s Initiative, 3 Graduates will Pass a Paid Internship at Sakpatenti

By the decision of the Prime Minister of Georgia, at public
institutions a 3-month paid internship program has been launched. Within
the initiative, Sakpatenti announced a competition on September 1. As a result
of passing the competition stages, 3 graduates will pass an internship at
Sakpatenti.
Mako Sidamonidze, a Bachelor’s Degree graduate of the
2024-2025 academic year of the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University, will
gain practical knowledge and work experience at Sakpatenti Department of Trademarks, Geographical
Indications and Design. She will pass internship in the direction of trademark
examination.
Nodar Dumbadze, who has graduated
this year from the PhD Program in Natural Sciences of the
Agrarian University, will also pass internship at Sakpatenti. His activity at
Sakpatenti will include the specificity of conducting preliminary patent
search, state
of the art analysis, preliminary assessment of patentability and participation
in the proceedings on patent applications. Nodar Dumbadze is an intern at the Chemistry-Medicine and Biology Division of the
Department of Inventions and New Varieties and Breeds, Sakpatenti.
The
third participant of the Sakpatenti internship program, Giorgi Mzhavanadze, is
a Bachelor’s Degree graduate of the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University of
the 2024-2025 academic year. He will pass an internship at the Service
Development and Citizen Service Division of the Administration Department,
where he will get acquainted with the peculiarities of the services offered by
Sakpatenti in this field.
The
internship program at Sakpatenti will last for 3 months and will end on
December 31 of this year. The participants of the program
who show the skills to apply in practice the theoretical knowledge gained during
their internship will have the prospect of employment at Sakpatenti.
