Women’s Role in Country Development

New prospects of business development were discussed during the Conference “Women’s Role in Country Development”, held on September 28, 2016. Up to 100 entrepreneur women familiarized with programs, specially designed to support entrepreneur women as well as with new opportunities of financial and technical assistance. Mrs. Sophio Mujiri, Deputy Chairperson of National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia Sakpatenti, delivered a presentation on tools of intellectual property rights protection for the participants of the event. Taking into account the great interest displayed by the audience with respect to the issue, it was planned to organize for entrepreneur women meetings on various topics, during which different subject-matters of intellectual property will be discussed.
The meeting, held at Rooms Hotel, was organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Project “Governing for Growth” (G4G), Tbilisi City Hall Culture Municipal Service, Ministry of Economy of Sustainable Development of Georgia and Women’s Business Council of Georgia.
