A Greening Campaign was Held on the Sakpatenti Territory

Greening on the territory surrounding the Sakpatenti Head Office in Mtskheta and taking care of the ecosystem have already become traditional. In order to renew the green area in Sakpatenti yard and create a healthy environment for staff members, a number of new decorative plants and various types of evergreen seedlings were added on the territory around the Sakpatenti building.

Mr. Soso Giorgadze, Sakpatetni Chairman, and Mr. Gogi Abuashvili, Mayor of Mtskheta Municipality, participated jointly in the greening campaign. Within the event, the following were planted: Cupressus sempervirens var. horizontalis, Red and Green Maple, Picea pungens Glauca, Climbing Rose, as well as Cupressus sempervirens “Pyramidalis” and Cupressus arizonica.

Over the past 2 years, in total, up to 200 flowering and other evergreen trees have been planted on the territory of the office, including: Lagerstroemia indica, Thuja occidentalis “Brabant”, Pinus mugo pumilio, Thuja Rheingold, Loropetalum, Cornus kousa, Hibiscus, Hedera helix, Philadélphus, Thuja occidentalis “Globosa”, Thuja Golden Globe, Cineraria.

Sakpatenti will continue in future enhancing the green spaces near the office and taking care of the environment.
