Mr. Soso Giorgadze, Chairman of the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (Sakpatenti), together with Mr. Manuchar Robakidze, Mayor of Terjola Municipality, and Mr. Soso Chapichadze, Chairman of the Municipal Assembly, visited Terjola Kindergarten No. 3 and met with Ms. Maia Tortladze, Director of the Terjola Municipal Preschool Education Center, and coordinators of educational programs.
At the meeting, Mr. Soso Giorgadze presented to Terjola kindergartens educational resources printed at the Office's printing facility: 100 copies of the curriculum methodological manual intended for children aged 2 to 6 and children's fairy tales on the topic of intellectual property, featuring entertaining and educational stories about intellectual property objects.
These educational materials will facilitate the effective implementation of the preschool education program, achievement of the outcomes defined by the state standard, and the holistic development of children. In addition, integrating these resources into the educational process will play an important role in fostering, from an early age, such skills and values as creative and critical thinking, imagination, basic problem-solving competencies, understanding the importance of ideas and authorship, and respect for authors' works.
It is noteworthy that methodological manuals, guidelines, and children's fairy tales on intellectual property, printed at the Office's printing facility, were also distributed to kindergartens in Tbilisi and Batumi during the previous and current years.
