ELSA’s Summer school is held in Georgia

Today, on 25th of July (2016), summer school of “Intellectual Property Law” was opened by the initiative of the European Law Students Association in Georgia. This year Georgia is hosting 35 students of 15 European countries who will participate in the course on Intellectual Property Protection during one week. Students will visit Georgia’s Innovations and Technology Agency (GITA) and the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia “Sakpatenti”. During Summer School program , the lectures will be given by the representatives of Sakpatenti, Georgian Copyright Association, GITA , the association of Patent attorneys and World Intellectual Property organization.
The aim of the event is to raise awareness of legal issues in the field of IP and make Georgian and European youth getting closer in order to share experience and knowledge.
By the initiative of ELSA summer schools are held annually in 32 countries on different legal issues . Summer School on IP is held for the first time in Georgia in partnership with Sakpatenti .
