Children from Dzegvi Rehabilitation Center Participate in Sakpatenti’s Grape Harvest for the Third Consecutive Year
October 17, 2026

The
vintage took place in the vineyard at Sakpatenti Head Office in Mtskheta. Mr. Soso Giorgadze, Chairman of Sakpatenti,
together with the staff members and the beneficiaries of the Dzegvi
Rehabilitation Center functioning at St. Giorgi Mtatsmindeli Monastery, as well
as their parents, and Ms. Nana Gogochuri, Head of the Center, participated in
the grape picking process.
Participation
in Sakpatenti’s grape harvest has already become a tradition for children of
the Dzegvi Rehabilitation Center. This year, they took part in the grape
harvest celebration for the third consecutive year and engaged actively in the
grape-picking process.
In
addition, Sakpatenti offers the guests an opportunity to deepen their knowledge
of intellectual property and become better acquainted with this field. Similar
meetings facilitate raising awareness among the beneficiaries and introducing
them to the basics of the field, which may also help them develop professional
skills in the future, should they wish to do so.
On
the territory of Sakpatenti Head Office, care of the vineyard and cultivation
of grapes is an established tradition. The vineyard is home to 29 Georgian
grape varieties, including Rkatsiteli, Khikhvi, Kisi and Shavkapito.
