Sakpatenti Training Centre has started training series tailored to needs. The first working meeting took place with the staff members of the National Scientific Library of Tbilisi State University. On October 29, 2020, the remote training was delivered for them on all significant issues related to copyright.
An online meeting of the top officials of Sakpatenti and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) was held within the annual meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) which took place in the hybrid format this year. This means that the specific quality, features and reputation of this produc due to the geographical environment and human factors characteristic of Samtskhe-Javakheti region, are recognized on the state level.
To develop relevant skills for teaching creativity and intellectual property concepts, 12 teachers of 6 public schools of Tbilisi, Rustavi and Gori will pass training within the EU-Georgia Intellectual Property Project (EUGIPP).

The International Training Course on Geographical Indications is held in the remote mode this year. The course, which is a part of the Professional Development Program (PDP) of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is administered by Sakpatenti for the fourth year.
