Sakpatenti to Launch a New Electronic System for Service Fee Payments
October 20, 2026
To improve service quality and accessibility, the National Intellectual
Property Center of Georgia – “Sakpatenti” is introducing a new electronic
payment system. Starting October 26, 2026, the National Intellectual Property
Center of Georgia will launch a new system for paying service fees. The system
will enable multiple payments to be processed quickly and seamlessly,
significantly improving service efficiency.
Under the new system, it will be possible to pay fees using a unique
invoice number generated by Sakpatenti’s electronic case management system,
through internet or mobile banking, self-service payment terminals, or with the
assistance of a bank representative. In addition, users will be able to pay
fees directly through the electronic portal using a bank card.
The new system will allow users to view all pending payments in one
place, select one or more invoices, and make individual payments or multiple
payments in a single transaction. Once the payment has been completed, the status of the
relevant invoices will be updated automatically in the system.
Once the new system is operational, users will be able to request a
refund or reallocation of a payment by submitting the relevant request through
Sakpatenti’s electronic system.
The new system aims to improve user-oriented services and further
simplify administrative procedures.
