Within the Conference, an exhibition of works of Georgian designers is being held, where Georgian brands such as “Avtandil”, “Eshvi”, “Dalood” and “Samoseli Pirveli” are presented. The exposition also unites Georgian traditional clothing and examples of jewelry from the Ministry of Culture of Georgia and the Art Palace of Georgia – Museum of Culture History.
The topic of the International Conference addresses the main challenges of design protection, special attention is devoted to the importance of design protection in the development of entrepreneurship and creative industries, which will help encourage innovation, strengthening of the competitive environment and attraction of investments.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition takes place in parallel with the sessions. The exhibition is designed to give visitors the opportunity to explore examples of Georgian design in one space, ranging from centuries-old traditional clothing to modern interpretations. It features both historical, traditional pieces and contemporary garments that reinterpret the past. Thus, the exhibition reflects the development of Georgian design and the uninterrupted connection between the tradition and the present time.
The well-known Georgian designers participating in the exhibition have a strong presence abroad, which is one more obvious confirmation of the integration of the unique Georgian culture into the modern global cultural space.
