Sakpatenti is a Supporter of the Basque-Georgian Gastronomic Congress
Sakpatenti representatives took part in the Basque-Georgian Gastronomic Congress. The main culinary event of 2024 –“Culinary Connection Euskadi-Georgia”, one of the active supporters of which was Sakpatenti, was held in Kakheti on March 2-3. The purpose of the Congress was to present the traditional culinary and wines of Georgia and the Basque Country, taking into account modern tendencies and methodologies, to develop enogastrotourism, Georgian cuisine and to share experience. It should be noted that the event will foster promotion of products marked with Georgian geographical indications and appellations of origin, increasing of their export potential, establishment of connections between countries in the direction of culinary culture and formation of business relations.

Sakpatenti is Making a Statement on Another Lie regarding the Accreditation Competition, Disseminated by One of the Televisions Yesterday
Yesterday, on February 14, one of the televisions disseminated false information that allegedly the process of granting accreditation to a collective management organization was conducted in violation of the legislation. In the broadcast, the letter sent to Sakpatenti by international umbrella organizations for the protection of authors’ and related rights was mentioned.

WIPO Annual Global Awards Call for Applications is Open
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has announced the Global Awards 2024. The purpose of the competition is to promote the use of the potential of intellectual property in entrepreneurial activities. The competition will reveal companies, individuals, inventors, authors and entrepreneurs, who by their innovative or creative activities facilitate progress and contribute to the well-being of the society. The competition demonstrates their achievements attained through the use of intellectual property, in particular, opportunities of receiving income, job creation, solving local and global challenges by supporting innovation, creative industries, investment and business.
Two-Day Training was Held at Sakpatenti for Representatives of the Tushetian Guda Association

The Agreement between the Government of Georgia and the European Patent Organisation on Validation of European Patents entered into force. From January 15, 2024, it will be possible to validate European patent applications and patents granted by the European Patent Office (EPO) in Georgia.

Within the Unified Program of the State Language Three-day Training was Held at Sakpatenti Head Office
Within the framework of the Unified Program of the State Language, three-day training was held at Sakpatenti Head Office in Mtskheta. The purpose of the training was to introduce to the staff of the Office the rules of transcription-transliteration of foreign languages developed by the State Language Department and the updated norms of the literary language and to deepen their knowledge in this direction. The training was planned and organized on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Sakpatenti and the State Language Department.
