“Chacha House” was Named as the Best Company Producing the Geographical Indication Product “Chacha” in 2022
The traditional “Chacha Festival”, supported by the National Intellectual Property Centre of Georgia – Sakpatenti, after a two-year interval was renewed. Today, an exhibition and tasting of products protected by geographical indication “Chacha”, produced by farmers, peasants, small cellars and companies of the eight municipalities of Kakheti Region was held in Telavi.

108 Teachers were Trained in intellectual Property Teaching Methodology in 2022
The short-term training program intended for school teachers was completed at Sakpatenti Training Center. In the current year, 108 teachers from 28 schools passed the distance course on “Intellectual Property Teaching Methodology” within the program. The activity was organized by Sakpatenti and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
