
Mr. Soso Giorgadze Handed over Fairy Tales on Intellectual Property Topic to Tbilisi Kindergartens
A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia – “Sakpatenti” and the Kindergarten Management Agency of Tbilisi. The cooperation is aimed to arouse interest in creative thinking among children, as well as to develop creative skills and stimulate perception of novelties.

Sakpatenti Participated in the International Advanced Certificate Training Program of the World Intellectual Property Organization
Ms. Mery Macharashvili, Head of the Department of Inventions and New Varieties and Breeds, National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia – “Sakpatenti”, participated in the International Advanced Certificate Training Program for Patent Examiners, held in Hyderabad, India. The event was organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy, the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks of India and the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management (RGNIIPM).

An Information Session on Copyright and Generative Artificial Intelligence was held in Geneva, Switzerland. The event took place at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Sakpatenti has Granted the Status of Appellation of Origin to 3 Georgian Products
The National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia – “Sakpatenti” has granted the status of appellation of origin to 3 unique Georgian products. “Askhi Mountain Sulgiuni” on the basis of the application of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, wine “Lechkhumi” on the basis of the application of LEPL National Wine Agency and wine “Racha” on the basis of the application of association of winegrowers “Khvanchaka were registered as appellations of origin.
